Oil pressure sensor?

I got another KA for my car since the last one was running real crappy.

And notice it had a bung for a OIL PSI sensor/gauge. Its the OEM type one, not a adapter plate like the ones you find for oil coolers or oil relocation kits.

So, since i already have a bung, and a friend gave me a glowshift oil psi gauge thats just sitting in my room. Thought i might as well hook it up rather then replaceing the unit back to stock.

Now, what oil pressure sensor should i get? I been searching around and i found abunch of them and dont know what would work with this gauge. The site says it uses a 1wire or a 2wire sensor. Whats the diffrence?

Also, i dont know if this is any help. But there is a bolt left connected to the oil filter plate.

The bolt on the bottom of the sensor. I guess the sensor is missing.

I tried taking pictures of mine to give you a better understanding, but I just cant seem to get in there close enough + there is a bunch of old oil caked onto mine! LOL!. Maybe I'll try again for you later...

I dont know how well those aftermarket ones work, but I stuck with stock.

Yeah, i was thinking of getting that since it said its for nissans. But im wondering if that will work with a gauge.

Yup thats it. It will work but you need the piece in the first picture. Im running the HK$ ones with peak hold. Both oil & fuel pressure.

I dont know what part you have, but i have a bung for it.

And i just went to go check out a oil pressure sensor like the one i pictured that was made for nissan. The threading is too small.

Anyone know a sensor where the threads are 7/16-4 ?

I actually have the same question, anyone know? Just looking for an aftermarket oil pressure sender that will fit into the stock sender location.

Most Japanese senders thread right on, HKS, Defi, Greddy, etc. The OE one is trash and as shown in the picture above, leaks oil like all hell. They're prone to blow out and continually leak.

The Z32/R32 is a 2prong unit that works on a real time gauge, but I doubt they would work with something aftermarket, as would most OE type senders. Best bet is to Ebay the gauge you have unless you can find a dealer who sells replacement parts for it.

Yeah, i could buy any ebay sensor, but i dont know if it i wll thread in. Only thing im trying to find out.
