nope... im waiting right now, was going to try to find a sidekick sport ignitor but i have a q45 and havent been able to find a good wiring diagram for it... i have the one from heavy throttle but am unsure about using that one....

without the ignitor everything should still work though right??? i just shouldnt get spark to the motor which is what i was hoping for

make sure your chassis is grounded well, i had the same problem and it was my chassis ground.

well thats not going to do anything if your primary ground isnt making a good connection. it sounds like it is by your description, but try taking that ground off the frame rail and stick it somewhere bare (no paint, undercoating, etc).
also i know it sounds silly but are you sure your battery is good?

thanks for all your help ansky... i traced the problem back to the harness behind the dash... it ends up most of the wires behind the fusebox are disconnected... i bought this car not running and i will never do that again...
