I bought this thinking I'd have the garage space to do a build up on it. But alas, my garage space has vanished, therefore, someone else can have the chance to build her up.
The good:
engine is tired at 168K but still pulls, doesnt smoke, knock etc etc. Bone stock and unmolested. 5spd.
The interior is super clean save for 2 imperfections in the carpet in the drivers side footwell. Honestly if you throw a floormat down, you'd never see them.
All the electric works, no issues with the windows, sunroof, etc etc. The cruise doesn't work for some reason though.
Clutch was replaced about 10K ago, still tight. brakes are good, tires have about half tread left.
no rust whatsoever.

I have a redline leather shift boot on the way for the car.
The bad: Car took a slight knock to the passenger side rear corner. it was parked and an old lady not paying attention pulling out of a parking spot behind it knocked it. This didn't bother me when i bought it because if you throw a body kit and wider fenders on the back the damage is gone. I had planned to do that. The frame was not touched when it took the hit.
I've gotten 3 quotes for the bodywork/paint etc. they range from 350-500 bucks. I have one good guy in philly who quoted $375 for all the pulling /pushing/smoothing/paint that will restore to stock.
I'm looking to get 3200 obo for her. I can show her anytime. Like i said i'm in philly. yes she will make the drive home. any questions? want to come check her out? email me! [email protected] make me an offer! I want to buy my pop a 55 ford for christmas!
