Hi, I have a 91 240sx HB, and recently I have some abnormal ticking sound from my engine, so I removed the 2 chain guides and replaced the chain tensioner. But after I put everything back, my car is lack of power all in a sudden. So I went to my friend's shop to have it check it. couldnt find anything.

I have replaced O2 sensor, engine oil, used redline total fuel system cleaner, replaced z32 fuel filter, checked the MAF. Timing checked as well.

any suggestions?
I am thinking if i could f*ck sth up when removing the guides??(what couldt I f*ck up other than the timing)???

BTW, the ticking sound is fixed........

Thanks to all the zilvia tech.....

like the cam timing is off. I dont see how you can fuck that up doing the tensioner job, but maybe.

If you pulled the distributor, it's off a tooth.

Start at step number 6 on the link below. Go to step 12 if you've already set piston #1 at TDC.

Whichever way it's off. How are we supposed to know what you did wrong?

find a timing diagram of the ka. make sure the cams are timed properly then time the distributor.
