This is a 97 240 w/ s-13 sr20. Here's the situation: 6 months ago before I went on deployment, It all started when my turbo timer fried and almost caught on fire. I thought it might be either the outside heat or because I have my electric fans wired to the turbo timer harness. But there is a fuse on the fan wire and it was still good. Anyways I cut the turbo timer out with scissors before it could catch fire. I left the wires hanging but out of the way and not touching. Everthing was fine the next few days and right before I left to go on deployment, when I went to start it, it would just click from the ignition switch when I turned the key. It would start after about 6 tries. I would turn it off and try it again and it would randomly either start or take a lot of tries with the same clicking. I parked it in my driveway, took out the battery, and went on deployment. Six months later I just got back and put the battery back in and power wouldn't even come on when I put the key in or turned the key. I tried jumping, that didn't work. I got a new battery, same thing. I put the old battery back in and all the electrical stuff came on when I turned the key, so I tried to start it and it just clicked and went dead. I put the new battery in, didnt work. Power only came on a few times but randomly. When I put the key in it no power works, the lights dont work either. It's like it gets battery power randomly. I removed the rest of the turbo timer harness and connected everthing back to stock. I am in the process of taking my alarm system out but I'm going to get help with that because I'm not sure where some of the wires are going. I have most of it out though and it still wont work. I almost wish I wouldn't have messed with the alarm, but I'm running out of possibilities. Anyone please help, thanks.
