throttle cable?

hey guys, just a quick lil question, always had me wonder

why is it that some throttle cables on s13's are longer than others? is it because the ka24de needed a little more length than the single cam ka?

The KA24DE (twin cams) have a longer throttle cable length than single cam KA24E. Alot of people prefer to use twin cams cable for their sr swap because of that.
