The time has come for it to go. Here are the mods: eagle rods, wiseco pistons (.020), brand new oem main and rod bearings, block was bore-d and re-honed, balanced crank, new water pump, new timing chain, new timing chain guides, new front cover/ oil pump, arp rod bolts, arp head studs, cometic headgasket, head was fully disassembled, cleaned, and assembled with brand new valve stem seals, valve guides were measured and a few were replaced, comp valve springs, crower titanium retainers, greddy rocker arm stoppers, brand new gaskets were used throughout entire rebuild, greddy intercooler kit, koyo alum. rad with 2 12" electric fans, greddy type rs bov with hotpipe, megan racing downpipe, act xtreme race heavy duty 6 pad clutch, agency power ss clutch line. Greddy airnx intake filter, pepperoni style intake piping. There may be a few more parts that I can't recall. I did the entire build. If you don't trust my build, don't buy it. I bought a brand new wiring harness, but I tucked all the wires, so you may have to modify this depending on what you want. I have receipts.
Motor set was 2,375. Rods were 350, pistons 480, bearings 150, machine work for bottom end 250, front cover 240, timing chain 90, water pump 60, clutch was over 400, greddy intercooler kit 800, etc etc
If you add up the parts, plus cost of the motorset itself, you can see how much money I have invested.
Currently, there are about 2550 miles on the rebuild, and the compression results were: 153, 153, 153, and 154. I changed the oil after the first 20 minutes of it running, at 10 miles, at 20 miles, at 50 miles, at 100, at 250, at 500, at 1500, and again at 2000. Tranny fluid: I used redline mt-90.
