Ok everyone you may have seen the pics already but here she is.. Shes for sale now i DONT want to sell her but i need to.
Specs: Its a 1983 Camaro Z28. The engine is a 350 bored .40 over (383) The Specs on the engine are as Follows:
Its a 350 4 bolt main out of a 71' Corvette. Sine the engine was rebuilt its had a total of maybe 200 give or take a few miles on her so shes very young still and i advise HIGHLY against dragging it or anything yet until you break her in more. I bought the car of my best friend from school and helped drop the engine into this camaro. The engine has: 11:1 pistons with forged cast connecting rods,
400 Crank, Quiet gear drive, Double humped 202 heads, Screw in studs and triple valve springs and aluminum rocker arms, High flow oil pump, 512 lift 376 duration crane cam, edelbrock opent port intake manifold(aluminum), 650 edelbrock carburetor. The engine has blueprints but are at my friends house in tennessee : ( I also just put brand spanking new Heddman Headers on her. $130 Also has cherry bomb exhaust. This engine is supposively pushing 400 or so horses, but no dyno has been ran to prove so. May have more.
The Camaro itself: The camaro body is in pretty good shape. The paint is a one year old paint job and it has center line racing rims http://www.tperformance.com/category_pics/large/Auto_drag.jpg
The rims cost 232 or so a piece. The tires are brand new except the back passenger side one is a little worn from burnouts.. : ) It has a ram air 4" cowl inducted hood (stainless steel) cost about 800 bucks.
The Bad: The bad about the car is as follows. The worst is The starter.. When you put headers on one of these things... It makes it VERY hard to get to the starter. The starter on there now i believe has too many shims on it and so its not kicking out far enough so you will have to either take it apart and redo the shims OR i have another starter with it that is shimmed right i know. It has a new battery as well. The paint was done personally by a previous owner of the camaro body and has the peach fuzz going on and it has some buff marks in it from where the guy used a electric buffer on her and burned it. It has some scratches in the paint as well. The passenger side mirror is also loose and needs tightened up. The windshield has a sorta large crack in it and will probably need replaced i doubt its fixable. It also needs a new head liner and a passenger side seatbelt and visor. The interior itself is in real good condition other than that the dash has some cracks and wear and tear from being old but is otherwise in good shape. Cloths seats the interior has been dyed black except for the rear carpet still needs dyed. It has some big speakers in the back i think they look like home stereo speakers or something they look cheap but by no means can you hear the radio when the car is running. Nor would i want to listen to the radio you should be listening to the engine :)
