For sale is a 1971 Datsun 240Z project or parts car. I bought this car a few months ago as a project and I do not have the time to invest in it right now. It needs work, but has a ton of potential. It has an original L24 with the more desirable E31 Head and carb set-up. The engine runs and the car drives, but it does not run right, I think the carbs need to be looked at, as the car has not been driven for awhile. The car needs a brake master cylinder as well so the brakes do not work right. Like I say the car runs and drives but will need to be towed. It has later model 5 speed trans that seems to shift fine. Cosmetically the car is in decent shape, it does not have a lot of rust, only some surface rust on the rockers etc. There are some dents on the front fenders but for the most part it is pretty straight. The seats have been redone and look pretty nice but the rest of the interior needs work. The car has an autopower roll bar installed which is a very expensive item new. It also has a newer urethane front air dam. The car has 15" 200SX alloy wheels with good tires. I do not have a title for the car, but have lien sale paperwork which can be used to get a new title for the car. I am asking $950 for the car which is what I have invested. Even in parts I think this car is easily worth $950. Or it could make a great race car, or project to restore. Car is located in Fresno,CA If you are interested please e-mail [email protected] or call my cell at 559-392-2769.

I have the lien sale paper work I got from the previous owner. No pink slip. Basically what is required is a brake/lamp inspection, pay the back fees (which shouldnt be much since everything was brought up to date less than 2 years ago) and get a new title issued. Luckily you don't have to worry about smog.
