Hi,
My engine doesn't idle properly, rpms drop and it stalls. I checked the ecu code and it read 25. I've tried the carberator cleaner method into the throttle and intake pipe leading to the IACV-AAC Valve, but it seems only to be a temporary fix. The engine error light is still there.
After the cleaning, the rpms sometimes stay at 500 rpms, with AC on it jumps to 750 rpms. I can also hear the valve klicking when I turn on the AC. This is however only temporary. On following startups the idle can drop from 500 to 250 rpms with AC on or drop bellow 500 rpms and stall.
I may have to get the manifold off to check the valve it self. The IACV-AAC Valve is located under the 2nd intake runner from the firewall in a 95' 240sx. A difficult spot to get to. Can anyone recommend any other solutions? If not then what's the best way to get to the valve? Pull the engine?
