LOL.. thats funny shit... anyways.. your probably gonna have to get an orbital buffer, and an abrasive buffing wax, or maybe a clay bar. once you get it out, then go back over it with a good polishing wax.
on 2nd thought, try a clay bar first. that will usually take about anything out.

you're fucked. if bird dump is left on a hot car too long, by some act of satan himself, it can get under the clearcoat. but yeah........try a claybar, probably won't work though. if you really want it off you'll have to get a mildly aggressive compound and a high speed buffer.

Same thing happened to me a couple of months ago. Sucks huh? Yeah I'm hoping that when I get my car back from the dealership (broken into in case you guys don't remember, and no, I STILL don't have it back after 3 weeks...bastards) they will have detailed it and gotten rid of that.

The same thing happened to me this past weekend. Bird shit has a lot of sulfuric acid in it, so if it's left there too long it'll take the paint off. I'm going to try some polishing compound (no. 7) and maguires hand glaze this weekend to try and get it. I'll keep you posted if this works. Or if you have another idea, let me know <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> thanks

Oh thats nothing... I bought my car from someone who didn't wash the car sitting under a pine tree for 2 1/2 years straight. It had such bad dips in the clear coat to sap that sank in...but heres what I say, I tried all the Meguiars products and none took it out... And I could have bought a Mother's Clay bar for 15.99 but instead I bought a 2.99 container of Turtle Wax Rubbing compound (which is the same thing as a clay bar... it's liquid clay only..) And I took out the entire clear coat on the car (carful not to rub too hard because you will eventually get to your paint) Anyways now my car has a new clear coat on that I did over the last few days and now that its waxed to perfection it's bling blingin... once again DO NOT BUY THE CLAY BAR UNTIL YOU TRY RUBBING COMPOUND (heavy duty) you might end up costing yourself an extra 12 bucks on something that you can't use that well the second time.
