Sorry for putting it on here, but my winter beater has to go! need funds! NO TRADES, I already picked up a different winter car (hence the need for money). Asking $1400 obo, negotiable, just need it gone.
I’m selling my project 93 Civic DX Hatchback. The car is a 5spd with the d15, has 184k miles on the chassis, runs pretty good (for a stock d15). Bought as a project last year and no longer have time or money to do much with it, so it has to go down the road. The car is in pretty decent shape, it has a clean title and the body is straight and accident free. It has a brand new PA inspection/emissions good til next October, brand new tires with < 500 miles on them, new headgasket last year (before I bought the car), new (stock style) cat back exhaust. Also just put a cluster from an automatic EX in it two weeks ago so it now has a tach. Includes an old Kenwood cd player and sony xplod speakers.
Here’s the project part of the car: Has minor rust over the rear wheel wells, and minor dings and dents around the car. Paint is peeling on the hood and front fenders – some minor body work and new paint and this car would be gorgeous! The interior is pretty decent, aside from the usual wear and some minor tears on the front seat. Everything in the car works except the heater, which just quit on me last week – haven’t even looked into it, could be a fuse, not sure. The car does leak a bit of oil from I believe the front main seal… not major, but I figured I’d note it.
None of these problems are real major- the car is still very driveable and like I said, runs pretty well. I just don’t have time to mess around with another project. Would be a great DD or good base for a NASA Honda challenge/ SCCA solo II car.
I know that clean hatchbacks are getting hard to find. This car is by no means perfect, but is not a heap either. Asking $1400 for the car, lowballers know where to go.
