I have had alot of experiance with flowmasters but only in american cars, i was gonna make my own exhaust system with a flowmaster but coming out the side in front of the rear wheel.. but i have to take the time to actually lay under the car and work out the fittings... one of these days i will... Any how, in my opinion flowmasters are very good, they sound amazing and had a good amount of power, the best places to buy them are Summit Racing (http://www.summitracing.com) or Jegs (http://www.jegs.com) Well i hoped i helped... later

I can only think of one 240 I have seen that had a Flowmaster, he also had an Fmax turbo kit, he's making pretty decent power, I think his last dyno was in the 240-250 range.

the only disadvantage I'd see is that the good tuning companies spend a little bit of R&D in figuring out a good compromise of bends, backpressure, flow, and sound...so unless you know what angles and how many you want....you'll be at the mercy of the muffler shop guy.

I'd try it...if you trust the muffler guy or have a general idea of how many bends and what angle you want.

I'd find a local drag or track person...and ask them where they go for their exhausts.

I agree, flowmasters are very nice sounding....

Flowmasters for the most part aren't straight through designs and add backpressure, which is always bad.

Look at dynomax, magnaflow, or Hooker max-flow if you want a cheap muffler that will give you the best power.
