so yea its that time of the year and its about time we settled this and get a group going. I asked neme but i guess he forgot to mkae this thread :P anywayyysss were goin snowboarding or skiing whichever u prefer. Last year a few of us went and it was great so i think this will go just as well.

Anyone have a cabin we can use or rent out? And whos going? Im going no matter what, hotel/motel or cabin im still going.

i usually stay at one in south lake tahoe near heavenly. The reason why we didnt use that one last time was because the other guy offered his.

Umm... but if u wanna use this one, it comes at a price and a certain date. Thats another reason why i didnt offer it. We are all cheapskates here. =)

Man, it still havent snowed properly. My boys went to squaw and they said it was naaaaaaaaaaaaasty. There were more rock and ice than snow thats for sure. He said he was it eating it so hard it was knocking the wind out of him. He showed me his board and rocks gnawed on it...

thats why you look at the snow reports...all resorts reported 0" of snow within the last 72 hours...and that artificial stuff isnt gonna cut it if theres no natural fall...

if you guys plan on going more than a few times...we should all just get tahoe cards and bunk up at various lodges...

I am not exactly sure on the price nor am i on the date, but i can do a little research at get back at ya Evan.

Details about the cabin itself:

Fully furnished kitchen, fully furnished family room, TV, Cable, Fireplace, 3 Bed rooms. 1st bedroom has a queensize and can sleep 2. 2nd bedroom is about the same as the first. And the last bedroom has 6 singlebeds. Its a really big room so there is a lot of floor space as well. 2 Bathrooms. 1 Shower, 1 Bathtub/shower. It has a washer and dryer as well. Garage and backyard. Its a really kool cabin.

BUT, its kinda pricey. =) But ya, lets just leave that at last resort, because it is about an 1hr away from Kirkwood. And thats the only place i wanna go if I go back up this season. Heavenly was awful.. =( But then again, i went the day after Thanksgiving. LOL.

Its raining this weekend here.. so that should give us a good supply of fresh dump in the Sierras.

Where do you guys all go for boarding? I go to Sierra at Tahoe since I'm about 45 minutes away. The snow up there isn't the best right now though. Went last weekend and there was practically nothing (Heavenly didn't have much either). The 31st will most likely be packed with people though. Toyota will give me Sundays off (cause the shops closed Sunday :P ) so maybe on a Sunday?
