Ok...I'm thinking about trading my s14 for a clean sr'd s13 coupe/hatch. The only color I don't want is red...and preferably black interior. Depending on cleanliness/mods I am willing to add cash. Location matters, no socal/norcal/west coast people, preferably southeast. I'm in Hickory, North Carolina.
***The Car*****

Red 95 SE
157k miles
4 brand new tires
oil changed every 3k
***This is one of those cars that you don't see everyday, it was at a local used car dealer, I am the 3rd owner, the previous owners were both women, no rust, paint is beautiful, all original paperwork/window sticker.

**The bads***

I wanted to be really honest about the car, and by honest, I mean brutally honest. Trust me, it is not NEAR as bad as I make it out to be. I just like to be very thorough and to not hide anything. Other than what I've listed below, this car is nothing short of immaculate.

-5 inch long rip in the driver side carpet, along the edge of the tranny tunnel(you can't see it with the floormats).
- Tachometer only works on occasion. It is a small electrical hiccup somewhere between the ecu and the tach.
-The rear bumper has a weird sort of dent/crease thing going on, it blends with the body lines and is only noticable if you are looking for it. Yesterday, I was backing out of my friends driveway, and I hit one of his brick statues(don't ask). I hit the corner, so theres about a 6 inch long line of various scratches, not bad, but still noticable.
- Two cold-start problems:
1) The car will not crank up right away. I usually have to pump the gas pedal a few times to get it to fire up. This is only necessary when the car has been sitting for hours at a time.
2) Weird gear grinding problem. When first started, the car will grind in first gear when the clutch is depressed. This goes away for the remainder of the day.
-In an attempt to make my door panels a little classier, I tried to remove the fabric insert on the passenger door. However, after many, many, hours of scrubbing with goo-gone...the rest of the glue/foam will not come off, so the insert has a sort of yellowish foam/film all over it. I am in the process of sourcing another.
-In the smack dead center of the windshield, there is an extremely small crack. It was there when I bought it. All total, about 1/2 to 1mm in diameter.

Other than that, this car has been wonderful to me and I haven't had any problems to date. A/C blows ice cold and heat is TOASTY. It's bone stock besides the shift knob, Sony xplod, and the front bumper.

Ill might trade. I have an sr'd 89 white with brown interior. I'll even throw in the over fenders and silvia front end...Im in GA. Ive put 8500 into her and she runs sweet but the wifey is getting tired of it so Id like a nice s14 to swap. I lose money but I could do without the nagging. Email me if interested. [email protected]
