I had a REALY shitty weekend, I mean AJ / AK / QQ etc all those hands I lost horribly with, horrible luck. I got turned and rivered on like 6 times and one of the worst ones was my queens vs jacks, guy with the jack got his case card, the guy next to me had his other jack (who folded after we went all in) Im in the hole at about $340 for the weekend, how much have you guys lost? Make me feel better!! It was really shitty beats man, thanks

i hardly play live, tournements only. no limit holdem. saturday i made final two tables then lost ace king (me) to pocket twos me being all in preflop, then today (sunday) i made final three tables and lost preflop k-7 to pocket aces i was short stacked and figured k7 offsuit was the best hand i was gonna get before the blinds came to be (very early position at this time). and lost. this is at viejas, one of the san diego casinos with pretty good tournemnts.
if anyone in sd wants to go, talk to me i can sponsor you in free for your first tournement depending on the day.
i got 3rd over the summer at a morning tournement at sycuan, made me happy.

Remember back in the days of high school? Getting together with a group of friends, scraping up change from every cravis in the house? I certainly do. The whole crew would get together at the local Safeway, bull shit around and plan out a night of poker. We would silence our phones to ignore girl friends, no flakes tonight.

We would head to the Smoke Shop out at the indian reservation. Our former class mate Cory would be standing behind the counter, the white folk took over the Smoke Shop. We'd get our Romeo and Juliets, Back Woods, and just about anything that would go good with a 1 liter Coca-cola and a 20$ bill. More change to chip in to the pot!

I remember those days... Being a senior at 18 and almost out of High School, kicking it with your buddies before everyone took off into the real world.

tell me that you won a badbeat jackpot with that at least, cuz that is rough. sorry man.

most i lost in one hand is probably like 150-200....but one of the worst beats ive ever taken was at a live table, but only 3 people left playing:

i get AK. 1st guy raises minimum amount, next guy folds, and i reraise to double his raise (4x blinds). he calls....flop: A K 9 (YES!). he bets $20 (half the pot). i reraise all in for another 100-120. he doesnt hesitate and calls right away. he shows 8 8....i have no idea why he would call so loosely, especially since i reraised preflop. then all overcards on the flop....anyway....turn is an 8....and river brings out the other 8....which ended my worst night of poker ever, as i lost like a total of 500 that night.

Yea isnt that a jackpot at morongo? thats the only hand that couldve beat you.

And "gotsil" thats fuckin HORRIBLE!!!! Like one 8 yeah ok whatevers three of a kind, but that river card was jus a slap in the face.....

Honestly I highly wonder how the hell the same people keep making it to the WSOP every year

ummm, $600 in a weekend online. $200 on one hand with real people. i really suck though. need more practice.

I've never lost at TH'em...seriously. EVAR!




I've only played twice though ;). Won both times. Not my cup of yea though. I prefer other poker games. I don't like the elimination factor. Takes some of the fun away for me.

damn that suxks the most i've lost live is about 120 in 1 night, and then tourney's well i just lose the buy-in...lol.

YES IT would have been a JACKPOT but dealer given out cards, one card hits a chip and skids over. card was a 5. just cuz that jack pot was not given out. WOW every one at the table was HOT. thats my luck tho. super sad.:down:
