Interior Color: Dark Grey
Trans: 5 Speed
Chassis Mileage 178961
Engine Mileage Engine rebuilt at approx. 165,000
VIN JN1MS36P1MW016201
Vehicle story: This is my 3rd 240SX. First was a 95, then a 98, now a 91. This car was bought from a female driver with a blown motor. The body and frame were clean as a whistle. I bought it with no hesitation. I dropped off the car at the local engine rebuilder and had the motor completley rebuilt - the engine did not run due to a cracked head. Rebuild included new pistons, rods, new head, whole engine gasket kit, timing belt, water pump, oil pump, heater core, radiator, battery, clutch kit, valvetrain hardware, AC recharge... (I have the reciept that lists specifically all work done. Engine runs very strong, just like it was brand new.
While that was being done, I dropped off the car to my friend's bodyshop. Vehicle was torn down completley, all body work done, and resprayed Audi Silver. S14 Kouki wing was custom fitted to fit the hatch. I bought many parts at the junkyard including doors from an SE model with power locks and power windows. (Power locks are not hooked up at this time)
After I got the vehicle back from the body shop, the engine shop installed the motor. I broke in the motor and put the car in storage waiting for suspension and turbo parts. The vehicle sat for 6 months, and I started it and drove it around every week or so. I decided to move to Houston to attend UTI. At the same time, my fiance's car decided to take a crap, so I had to put the car together, get it registered, inspected, and insured so she would have a car to drive. We are now in a position to sell, and I no longer wish to continue with the project.
Upgrades:Authentic S15 Silvia seats, S14 Kouki wing (modified to fit hatch) Audi silver paint (Color code 5B) includes door jambs and hatch area, S13 manual seat belt conversion, fully rebuilt KA24DE to OEM spec, many trips to junkyard replace parts that were cracked or faded, almost new Toyo Proxes tires, Ebay M3 Mirrors (Electric but not hooked up), power windows, authentic Fuba Betaflex antenna, reupholstered door panels, and reupholstered hatch area including tonneau cover.
Things buyer must be aware of: No radio, cracked windshield, no carpet in passenger area, interior trim sanded down to be refinished with no texture and different color.
Reason for Selling: My daily driver is a truck. This was supposed to be a track only project car, but due to circumstances, I will be forced to part ways with it. This is a great project car or weekend warrior.
Asking 3,500 or best offer.
Please do call me if you want to see the vehicle or to test drive. It is very difficult for me to check this post often. You can reach me on my cell at any time. If I do not answer, please leave a message, and I will return your call.
