about 2 weeks ago i called enjuku (talked to ken) wanting to order the Spec stage 1 clutch. after some discussion ken convinced me it was a better idea to purchase the Stage 2 for $20 more. after i placed the order, ken found out that it was backordered until the 8th. He then said that he'd give me the Stage 3 for the same price, but that there was some chattering issues. For various reasons, i decided to wait until the Stage 2 was available, the catch was, i needed it by thurs the 11th. Ken agreed to split the cost of 3 day shipping with me. and as he promised, the clutch arrived on time (actually 1 day early).

Anybody can seem like a good person when things go smoothly, but it's when problems arise that a persons/business' true value shows. Ken always kept me up to date on what was happening and was very accomodating given the bad situation. I'm not an easy guy to please, but i would definitely buy from Enjuku in the future.

Hey tnord did you install it yourself? And how much of a difference compared to stock is it (if you have it installed that is)? Oh yeah and is there a break in time?
Keep us posted on it

Thanks

no i will not install it myself. i can do a lot of things, but transmission stuff is beyond me. i haven't put any of it in yet either, i just got it all today, hopefully by fri. the break in time for the clutch is 300miles so it looks like i'll be taking a trip to wisconson and back as soon as i get my car.

tnord, i know exactly how you feel, at the begging of last week, i was deciding on my exhausts, and i decide don the HKS Hiper, so i posted on zilivia to see what kind of prices people were seeing, and Ken went out of hjis way to PM, jsut to tell me to hurry because they were clearing stock, so i ended up getting the exhaust for $459 + shipping, when the closest competitior was $508 w/o shipping. I really appreciate someone going out of is way to do that, and he also ensured that he would get the price adjusted properly, very impressive, and I plan on going through Enjuku as much as i can because of how the went out of there way to get me a sweet deal, BTW, thanks ken!

From the sound of so many positive reviews it looks like Enjuku is THE place to buy 240 parts.

I'm impressed and I haven't even purchased anything form them yet.

I've become pretty jaded concerning the aftermarket distributors for all imports. No one in this business knows a thing about customer service. It's nice to hear that one company stands out.

I can guarentee that Enjuku will be getting 100% of my business unless it's SR20 related...then Heavy Throttle is just too close to me to pass up.

highway miles do not count in terms of break-in. 300 miles is supposed to be light-footed, around town driving in order for the new clutch to bed in with the fly wheel. if you're just cruising at 80 on I-39 for 4 hours, the clutch is just sitting there. there is very little torque on a clutch happening at cruise (look at how light your throttle is, for example). so i hate to burst your bubble like that, but i'd rather do that than have you trash a brand new clutch, travis.

I have always been a big fan of enjuku! If anyone noticed I always push enjuku when anyone has questions about pricing. I got my greddy 3in dp, N1 dual, cone filter, and boost gauge through them. My N1 dual was on back order when I purchased it and he bumped me up on the list so I could get it quicker. By the time I called to get the tracking # the damn thing was on my doorstep. I will continue to do business w/ enjuku and will probally get my Apex'i AFC through them. Unless I can get it on e-bay dirt cheap Also, not to change the subject, but Japandy (sn on e-bay) sells great products on e-bay w/ no reserve. So if you are looking for accesories like boost controller or BOVs etc look him up. Shipping is really fast and reply to e-mails come almost instantaeously!

I can't stress enough how awesome it is when shops actually DO care to help. I've had soo many fuggin shops that a lot of us know...where I would order something and if its backordered they wouldnt tell me...I'd just sit around scratching my ass. I hated that crap...CALL ME if its backordered.

I raved about enjuku a few months ago when I ordered My
N1 Dual exhuats from them. They are great!!! always honest and upfront. They also get parts really fast compared to anyone else. Enjuku IS the place to buy from for the 240.

i gotta add my voice to this and say enjuku rocks! i've bought both my CAI and dual n1 from them and i have nothing but good things to say about their service. they had the dual n1 on my doorstep within a week of my ordering it (i'm in CA, they're in FL), when everywhere else had a backorder list of monstruous proportions...

I agree.. Enjuku rocks.. They really take care of you. Ken is the man.

The only places I buy anything from are:

Enjukuracing.com
PDM-racing.com
JSPEC.com
Autoimaging.com

I don't think I've ever heard a truly negative comment about any of these guys, and I've never had anything but good things to say about them.

I have not dealt with Enjuku, but they are definitely ones I will consider in the future.

JSPEC.com and Autoimaging.com are awesome, I've dealt with them before also, sykikchimp. Another is www.boostdynamics.com even though I haven't bought anything from them yet, Louis continues to answer all of my questions quickly and thouroughly (sp?).

I will have to check Enjuku out. I have been looking for a new exhaust lately. Usually I go through Nopi for things, they seem to be pretty quick with their shipping, but pricewise I have been leaning toward Enjuku. They appear to have a pretty good selection too.

yeah boostdynamics rock too, haven't baught anything from them yet though. I've talked to Duc Tran a couple times, seems like a good guy. They are re-doing their silvia conversion to a Sil1580 too.. gonna be bad-ass. He said that he got it as a conversion kit S13 to s15. It fit perfect, but is expensive as shiet.

I bought my N1 daul through them and it was one of the best transactions i have ever had.

their prices are always competative and what's more is that they agreed to lower the declared value on the item so as to save on brokerage fee's. saved me upwards of $300.

yes i would definately reccomend them, and if the brokerage fees were't so consistantly rediculous to Canada i would purchase everything through them.

They are great
