Hey, I did a search, couldn't find the answer.

The front of my S14 is about 4.25 inches off the ground with a front lip, the sides of my car is about 6 inches off the ground.

How much lower would the OEM kouki S14 sideskirts lower the sides of my car?

Thanks in advance.

it wont lower your car *smartass remark lol*

just adds extra body to the side. Just look for pics. Are you trying to match to ur front end or just tryin to figure out if thats too low for you? You wouldnt have anything to worry about til your like 1-2 inchs off the ground lol

are you worried about matching the lip?
what kind of lip do you have?
it looks fine with a stock lip. anything lower and its not going to come down low enough for the lines to match up.

I have the Vtun'd front lip.
It's lower than the OEM SE S14 lip.

I'm trying to figure out if it's too low for the car (which from your information that it doesn't) because of speedbumps. My front lip goes over speedbumps well, just over larger speedbumps, the downpipe scrapes a small amount, so I wasn't sure, because if the sideskirts DID lower the look of my car, they would scrape instead of the downpipe.

From your thoughts, do you think the kouki sides would match the lines?

Thanks again.

the bottom edge is hardly a half inch below the body. You won't have any problems.

yeah, from when i test fit mine, it didn't seem like they lowered the side body lines at all. Maybe 1/2 or 3/4 of an inch as previously stated.

lip is a greddy gracer lip
you can see it needs to be a very subtle lip if you want the lines to match up
clearance wise you will be fine

Thanks a lot for the pics, much appreciated.

I would get some real aero, but long story short, I need to save up money for other things, and also my current wheels wouldn't be flush enough.

Real aero? Kouki skirts are more expensive than any aftermarket skirst I've seen. hahaha

Ohh another old thread...

Yes, the kouki 97-98 side skirts are the match for the v-tun'd front lip. The design was made utilizing kouki sides. See the aero section on:
