i still hate the lead singers voice from blink182? sum41? one of those "american pie college rock" boy bands...too whiney and sounds a tad brit when hes not even brit...gets tiring really fast, but the musics decent...

Angels and Airwaves make alright music, but Tom is a complete DICK because of what he did. On KROQ they said that he had his manager call the rest of Blink 182 and tell them that he was quitting the band and he doesnt want anything to do with them anymore. He also said that he already changed his # so dont even bother calling. Thats probably why the rest of blink 182 started up +44 which IMO is way better than AvA.

im tired of all the back and forth about how Tom said this and how abandoned that...does it really matter??People are people! they do stupid stuff and say jackass things, esp Tom Delonge....:coolugh: its the past now and whats left is 2 great bands Angels and Airwaves and PLus 44:angel:

lol, I was half playing. Ava are ok just not my kind of music. Too melo-dramatic and operatic.
My point is: of all the post Blink 182 bands Transplants is the one that 'rocks my socks off' personally - specially the first album.

I loved the AvA show I went to in VA Beach back in like July, great show. All band bullshit aside, I think the product they have come up with is great, it's a good departure and re-birth of the tom delonge/ blink 182 sound, great stuff imho.

How about

Blink 182 before Travis.

Mark, Tom, and Scott.

Or maybe when Travis was in the Aquabats and did not look like a fucking weirdo. The Baron Von Tito.

hippity dooo daa day

I remember being surprised how well the band sounded for being a live show. I was also lik 20 feet from the stage.

Aquabats > than all the other bands mentioned in this thread so far -- put together.

For what it's worth, I listen to a lot of hard rock, metal, hardcore, drum and bass, breakbeat, jazz, funk, but for the love of pete, not emo.

I would rather let my testicles breathe, instead of cramming myself into girls' jeans that are 17 sizes too small, just to be "cool"

The Aquabats pwnz.

AvA...why's there a v?

And I read a +44 mini-article, and they seem to be some asshats that know nothing about music. "Yeah, we actually just wrote a song with some country influence." :fawk2:

The "v" is AVA is just an upside down A. so instead of "AAA" its AvA

oh and AvA is also the name of Tom Delonge's daugher (and a reason to have the band symbol be "AvA" :)

Nah, Toms an alright guy.

And the concert was superb. a lil too much bass and people singing to really hear tom's voice but it was still an enjoyable time. (maybe only 400-500 people at last nights show) it was cool how he made a positive messege and reached out to the crowd. instrumentally these guys were amazing :)

the other bands that played last night were great as well. of course im talking about "THE SOUNDS"!!!!!!! yeah! hot blonde sweedish singers rock!!
