Anyone use one of the Greddy knock-offs? They look damn near identical so just wanted to know if anyone uses one or has any experiences with them.

I'm curious too....but the S14 SR20DET ones I see on Ebay only replace the upper plenum section, which doesn't make any sense.
I believe the GREDDY one replaces both on the S14 SR20DET. Can someone here please verify. Pics would be great!
You already spent the dough on the SR, why not buy quality parts for it? I'd personally save up the $$$ and buy authentic parts, especially an intake manifold.

I remember someone telling me that they work but the ports suck and that it needs to be deburred.

Well because a name doesn't mean shit. If the two parts are identical in look and function why would I by a $500 part when I can get the same thing for $130.

I seem to remember that the manifold does need some work, but the work is comprable to that of the genuine thing. Thats what I heard

The casting of the "Freddy" products is absolute garbage. I had an oil pan that leaked directly through the casting that would not allow me to use it. Other people using the intake manifolds have reported bad vacuum leaks and I'm sure many others have them but have not necessarily noticed.
I've got one that I haven't used yet. The ports are a little messy and it could do with a little smoothing here and there.
The vaccum ports dont' seem to have any issues holding air, the fittings seem to have a good fit.
I've HEARD about vaccum issues but I've also heard of many positive stories too

ive seen one in person and the casting is pretty bad, like there were pretty big chunks of leftover material, which is easy to get rid of with a dremel and a little time, but as far as it being the same quality as the real thing, it def. is not.
