Shit, I managed to fall asleep all year, woke up and it was magically November. Anyone in the states knows that retailers throw up all the good sales the day after Thanksgiving, known about the retail industry as "Black Friday," and it is becoming a yearly tradition around Zilvia to share what we might be copping, and where we can get it, so as to not have one another running about our cities at 5am like a bunch of jackasses.

When a company is "in the black" means that they are making money. "in the red" means they are not.

Black friday is when they can make a ton of money and pull a profit at the end of the year.

I hate black friday because I'm in retail sales, although what people don't get is that the sales actually start two weeks before black friday. So if you shopped anywhere from two weeks to a week before black friday you'll still get the same sales as black friday for the exception of like 7am-1 pm for an additional 10-25% off. For my store at least that's how it is.

ive been in retail for years. most of the stuff thats on sale is crap with high margin. theres a reason y they sell it and y its dirt cheap. honestly if u really want somethin that bad and think its worth it, do what silverarrow says cuz everywhere has a guaranteed low price or pricematch up to 30 days. SOOOO that means u can buy something 30 days before black friday KNOWING that itll go on sale. go in line, ask for a price adjustment and u dont have to pull an all nighter :D

Sil-Abc is right, the only thing you have to worry about is finding a parking spot which can take you hours and then wait in line to get a price adjustment which can take you half an hour lol

Yea i used to be in retail and damn did it suck, had to be at Target at 4am. You just see hundreds of people lined up at the door, they just stare at you like they are gonna eat you. Once the doors open you just see people running, some people trip others, its very funny. But it sucks cuz the lines never end and customers are so fucken pushy, lol
