What kind of clutches are you guys using? Whats a good clutch to go with??  ACT? Clutchmasters? What do you guys recommend?

im using an ACT heavy duty pressure plate and street disk. it grips very well and i use it for daily driving and it isnt too harsh at all. my car only has normal bolt ons. if you have a turbo you may want to go with a 4 or 6 ppuck because the power you car has. but for basic mods and daily driving the ACT street clutch is great. but i think you can get the centerforce clutch for cheaper if that is an issue. it is a very good clutch too.

I jsut got a SPEC clutch under the recomendation of Enjuku and I am very pleased. Cheaper than the ACT, carbon Kevlar face and very stock feel on my stage two. Much stronger and I have noticed that it is smoother under hard acceleration (my old clutch was dead though) So for 303 buck shipped, I am happy.

I know the guys over at srswap.com use SPEC clutches in all their SR setups and have no complaints.  I have yet to hear a bad thing about them.

Avoid 4 or 6 puck they die real quick. &nbsp;Use the pressure plate for them but use an organic disk and you will get good feel and a tighter clutch w/o the short life or really grabby clutch that will kill your tranny <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':('>

ACT all the way. &nbsp;Proven race and street performance. &nbsp; The Street/Strip clutch they have worked great on my FD even to 400 rwhp. &nbsp; It was perfect for everyday driving and weekends at the track.

If you have a SR ACT has an application for that too.

I was very happy with my ACT street clucth. Not too harsh fro normal driving, but a much better grip.
