my friends are all bitching at me for thinking a red top front clip is expensive. he thinks that because in april he found a front clip for 2400 with body panels. the thing that is pissing me off is that he still keeps insisting that is well over priced when i tell him that since the 240 scene is getting more populare prices will rise. so do you think $2500 is a decent price for it? or am i just trippin?

you didnt say (i dont think) if your 2500 clip comes with body panels. if i does go for it, if you dont want the panels you could easily sell the conversion parts for over a 1g. making your clip only cost less than 1500.

honestly, if i were to do my swap again i would not have gotten the whole clip. maybe i just got a bum clip but, mine was missing a piece of the intercooler pipeing, the intercooler had a small hole in it, and the oil pan was dented anyway. i had thought that all that was protected by buying a clip. im not unhappy just dissapointed. i would just get a motor with a complete harness and buy aftermarket intercooler, hot pipe, and oil pan wich i ended up doing anyway. plus it was a BITCH getting that damn clip to my house. i suppose if you have a truck and BIG ASS trailer, it wouldnt be as bad. those are just my experiences though. just thought id tell you. good luck.

I THINK 2500 IS FAIR PRICE FOR A RED TOP IF THAT IS A BLACK TOP OR S14 GO FOR IT BUT MAKE SURE THAT IS COMPLETE AND EVERTHING SEEM IN GOOD CONDITION.

TIP: MAYBE YOU CAN RENT A U-HAUL TRAILER OR A.T. TO DRIVE IT TO YOUR HOUSE IF THAT IS LOCAL.
