I have been thinking about putting one in ( 95 j30 vlsd) but not sure on how

it will effect the drive. From what I know the gearing is 3.96 to 1 which is

bigger than a stock VLSD(~4%). This will give a better top end because

each gear is longer but how will this affect the 1/4 and driftablity of the car.

From what I can gather it will really hurt the 60 footer and keeping it on the

outskirts of the power band. Running an Sr with a hks gtrs. Anyone who

has experimented with this rear end, your input would be greatly appreciated

4% is nothing, changing wheel/tire sizes does the same amount, if not more. You'll never notice it.

Run a slightly smaller tire and you'll notice a larger difference as stated above.

If you're already PERFECTLY set up with tire and rim combo and are on the edge of too tall of gearing, dont do it... but for the most part, no difference.
