Buying a 240SX

I am about to buy 1990 240SX Coupe.  The guy is selling it for $2000 obo.  This is my first time buying a car from a private owner. I test drove thew car and it runs good.  The only prob is the HUD does not work and the valve cover gasket needs to be replaced.  What else should I look out for when purchasing a 240SX.  Also how do I now if the car has a LSD.  Thanks

In that case i will go ahead and buy it. Is it real difficult fix the HUD. I read a lot of post about different things people tried to fix it but it seems like they weren't too successful. I might have missed a post. Do anybody have an idea how much the dealer would charge to fix it.

dealer nooooooooooooooo........anything dealer means bring your own lotion......just gert a helms manual....i dun know how to fix the hud so i cant help u...
