so someone mentioned it in another thread but it was only a mention and nothing else. Its been then since rumbling around in my head for a few days. It should work. I know truck guys use em to raise the bodys of pick-ups. A motor shouldnt be a problem. I just dont know how fast these things would degrade under driving conditions over time.
I have solid motor mounts right now (imagine a machined cylinder of aluminum, with a hole thru it and a bolt). which work really good. But its becoming a liltle too much on daily driving *esp when your on dates and you cant determine if the girl said she wants to go eat pho or *heheh* :squintd: *.
I been thinking the hockey puck idea might be another alternative, just as well solid, but hopefully cutting down on noise that my solids produce/transfer to the chassis.
Obiously 2-3 would need to be stacked up each side. Any one care to try em out?
