Ok, just bought a 95 SE and wondering which of the exhausts comes out at an angle? Im talking like the way the Hiper exhaust comes out of the Twin Turbo Z. And which exhaust systems are best for my application? Thanks guys

I think the apexi n1 and dual n1's come at an angle. there's a couple others, but i'm not sure which ones. the apexi dual n1's are good because they're suited for both n/a as well as turbo. hopes this helps

Most of the good cat-back systems will have that upward angle because that's the way to have the minimal amount of bends (ie less restrictive airflow = more power). Just about any decent catback that's focused on performance over looks and/or sound will have that angled look.

on a side note, it's funny if you look around to see what cars have the big fart exhaust going straight out, level with the car, you can be 80-90% sure that guy/gal just has a rice-tastic muffler wielded onto the stock piping, weeeeeeee. Must feel good to spend that $100-200 on something that gives you that 1-2hp boost. woo hoO!

both apexi's, the hks hiper, 5zigen fireball all come out angled, apexi is all one peice, somehtign like 9ft long, that give you the best flow, hipers are good too

Sweet, now I just had a 94 Integra and I loved how deep the exhaust tone was wide open. It was the GReddy Evolution cat back system. Now, I would like to get the same type of tone out of my 240. Which one should I get? APEXi sounds like the way to go now, but the APEXi on an Integra sounded like a weed whacker. Well, help me out guys. And I also know that the 240 is 2.4 litre and the integra was a 1.8 so the engine size and output will make a difference.

Greddy makes a couple of exhausts for s14's.
I got an Apexi N1 Dual, but haven't got it installed yet.

For the most part the extra .6 liters over your old teg's motor will give you a deeper sound. Not as high pictched or whinny as some exhaust on hondas.

I can give u mad ideas, For one GReddy/TRUST makes a 60mm 115mm tip POWER Extreme 2 that comes at an angle. Next would be BLITZ spec-r it is deep and also comes at an angled as well(If u wanna see jus pick up the new Super street and see for ur self) Last but not least JIC MAGIC exhaust. Ti 505 Bullet IMO THAT HAS THE NICE ANGLED EXHAUST( Look in super street to see the add as well againz). It is jus as deep but i will go wid JIC MAGIC jus to be VERY DIFFERENT

OH yea and forget APEX( I mite get flamed for that one) I see everyone is going to them but why follow everyone else be ur own man and choose ur exhaust urself... I guess that is why im not a fan of apex cuz everyone has them and its not worth getting to follow someone else's style or taste. I dont like duals they kind of make me quiver cuz it looks displeasing to me. This is my opinion guys so dont get mad at me cuz i dissed apex dual n1's

ive never really liked the dual on our cars either. the N1 dual for the FC is bad ASS though!! anyone ever seen it? its basically a spilt N1 exaust. so there are two angled n1 mufflers out the rear. it looks soooo good... especially with 3 ft flames out of each one! anyways, i just ordered my HKS hiper, and it should be here just next week so ill let u know how it turns out. i could have gotten the 5zigen for cheaper ($30 less), but i liked the look of the HKS better and it has a 5mm piping increase, but not too big lke the apexi...

Well, since i posted here, i'll give my 2 cents. Mostly depends on your tastes. If you like it big and slanted, N1 gt-spec and 5-zigen are all slanted and the first 2 are also big.
But if you are more like me, than i'd go for something of a sleeper look with a muffler that resembles the stock one (ask Grant for a pic). I'm yet to see a single tipped exhaust that would look fine with stock s14 bumper
