blinky blinky mod done w/ no blink

hey fellas, i've searched and came across the blinky thread and did what i was supposed to do and nothing.

i have an s13 silvia front and wired the corners like this:
*clear corner = old side marker
*amber corner = single filament, ground is grounded to chassis and + is spliced into green/yellow from the fr. bumper light

when i use a test light, there is current going into the socket when the bumper lights blink bright, however, when the bulb is in, it doesn't blink.

this is my question; is there a higher wattage bulb necessary or is the ol' 194 supposed to do the trick? thanks fellas:duh:

the bulb itself might be blown from the constant on and off that its getting from the wiring itself, try another bulb first

wow, i JUST ran downstairs and did that and the bulb works fine.
for that clear portion of the cornerlamp, there are two wires (single filament)

one for ground which has its own ground to the chassis,
and
one for power which i spliced (t-splice) into the bright flash wire from the fr. bumper lamp.

maybe i should splice the clear corner lamp's ground into the fr. bumper lamp ground also. i don't think it would make a difference but if anybody has any suggestions...

oh, and i also searched flasher, blinker, corner lamp wiring and they all referenced that blinky post. ima still keep trying.

so it still doenst work then? if u are being sarcastic, i was just trying to help u by having you start with simple things so u dont go re-wire it and find out it was fine before and was something stupid

sometimes sarcasm is the answer. unfortunately it didn't answer my problem. I rewired the ground from the clear corner lamp to the ground of the fr. bumper lamp and still didn't get the corner to blink. I've also read that i would have to use thicker wires b/c the corner lamps aren't supposed to blink, just like side markers aren't. this may be my next step! If anyone has any suggestions let me know wussup! thanks
