I was bleeding my coolant system and the car kept overheating. I realized that the condencer fan was not working. Everytime I turned the engine on, it was not turning while cooling fan started to turn with engine. Is this normal?
I have both connectors attached to the condencer fans connected.
What else could make this fan not working?

a/c condencer's electric fan wont Turn ON unless you turn the a/c ON.the engine clutch fan is always spinning when you cranking it and car is idleling and running.if you still haev overheat problem maybe check if the thermostat need to be replaced since when was the last time you did a tune up.i hope this would help!

The condenser fan turns on if: (in my EU spec SR atleast)
1: A/C is turned on
2: Radiator temp fluid reaches 194.
If it does not check the A/C fuse in the footwell. If I remember correctly it
is a 7.5A fuse.
My Taurus fan stop functioning but would spin when connected directly
to battery. The fuse I mention blew and afer replacing it all was well again.

Thanks a lot, guys. I was thinking about changing the thermo switch on the lower coolant tube...
