Thanks, save the flames. I don't care about your personal preference on carpet, on whether or not you do or don't want them. If you know where to get them, post up or STFU. Thanks.

Stupid posts will be negged.

too bad they're only made for rhd. But I guess you'll fit them in somehow right :D

actually, I think that they are a LOT more. But the rhd is why I didn't want to buy them.

Hey I just checked superautobacs site and it lists at $359.99. Which sounds about right since I remember them being almost $400. Special order though.
Robby maybe you can post up if that's something they have in stock in the store. Doesn't look like it though>?

those mats look ok but the S13 driver's mat is an usual design. Plus they're long. Most likely, those mats will be short in our S. My nismo egay mats are like almost 4inches short. That's why I was thinking or redoing my stock mats with black fabric and red stiching or black..

I used Costco floor mats for a while when I was daily driving it.

Those were the awesome thick ass ones that hold like a quart of water or something

$20 for a set

Looks whatever but protects like a bitch and good for the rainy days

karo mats. I recently noticed them in a super street (I know...) and contacted ghost dancer on this forum. Hes lots of help and quoted around $100

10-28-2006, 12:11 AM
for 180sx the prices on the karoism.co.jp website list it as around 300-400 for a set of 4, depending on which one you order. actuallyt eh checkered one, i think its sisel, is in the neighborhood of 300 bux.

so 90-100 a mat sounds about right with markup. although because they are chassis specific, they might only have RHD mats for the silvias. sure would be nice to have a set tho...

We got some at Origin, they fit LHD cars better than I thought, there is no cutout for the hump on s13s, but it lays over it pretty well. Only thing I would have to do to fit them was drill a hole and put the floormat under the foot rest, and also do the same for my cage. Even the back seat ones fit.

The floor mats we got are currently our floor mats for the office... :)

If people really wanted them I could get them, but there would have to be an actual interest in them.

shit i just scooped out some mats from EG civic did the mounting under the footrest and they fit awesome. Like twice the thickness of standard s13 mats and burly like the 89-90 carpet too. FTW. Plus they are super long and they conformed to the hump in like 2days driving.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/kidynomite/1-1.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/kidynomite/2.jpg

As you can see in the last picture you will have to put the foot rest over the floor mat, all you have to do is drill a hole for the screw.

Also note with the hump, it conforms to it pretty well, it didnt feel wierd or have any big gaps to it.

They come in four different colors (white, yellow, red, and blue). The price would be $150 for only the front pair, the rears are pointless and more expensive. All would have to be special ordered (6 to 8 weeks).

ok... did some research for those of you who dont like think to hard.

KAROism uses a material called SISAL on their high quality top of the line mats.
Sisal is a natural material like wool, and has characteristics of durability, fire prevention, anti-alkali, anti-corrosion, moth prevention, easy cleanness, non-static, no pollution, strong ventilation, and a sweet scent. Sisal products also have the function of foot massage.

Pricing is about $55-60/ sq. yard. not including any binders, or other materials needed to product a Floor Mat for your car.

Now you know...
Peace
