Ok Im throwing trouble codes:

P1447 evap purge flow monitor
P0335 Ckp sensor

the car is a 96 240sx

I need to know what part do I exactly change to get rid of code p1447 because the chiltons manual doesn't provide any information so I have no idea what part to change, so im falling back on you guys. Its funny because I called nissan and they are like "whats an evap purge flow monitor?"

question number 2 is the Crank position sensor... which sensor is it. I see two sensors on my transmission. is it the one toward the front of the car or the back.

thanks in advance!

Chilton's manual = worthless piece of shit. Download an FSM and quit halfassing.

Search function = amazing resource, if you use it.

I'll be nice though:

Crank position sensor is on top of the bellhousing, whoever pulled your transmisison last either broke it or left it unplugged.

For the EVAP piece I'd need to refer to an FSM (on my other computer), but now that you know that you can do it yourself.

Ive been looking for two days for the FSM. I had it on my old computer and now I cant find it.

Would anyone be willing to post a link to where I can download it?

that would just be awesome!

for the evap code, you probably need a new gas cap, and im not even joking. it has to due with the pressure and vapors in your gas tank and such.

Gas cap is code 75, EVAP system small leak.
