Hey guys im ordering aero this weekend and am planning on buying some 20mm over fenders for the front. My main concern is fitment, ive heard certain brands dont fit well and what not. Just wondering if yall have any suggestions to some good fitting ones (i want the single vented style)..also maybe a website that has these along with carbon hoods that way i can order them together and save on shipping...

i searched around but didnt find anything on fitment

thanks

I have some Origin Lab 20mm fenders on my S14 & they fit great. No fitment problems at all. As for a hood, I have a VIS CF hood that lined up almost perfectly (you can't win them all). You have to remember that you will almost never get aftermarket body parts that are like 100% oem fitment. Your gonna have to mess w/ them a little.

i got version select front fenders again
holy shit it was perfect fit
swear to you, 10 mins per side
remove old put on new.
i have them held on w/ 3 10mm bolts!
no sanding, no cutting no grinding.
it even had little marks where to drill. i did it...fit perfect.
so happy. i hate futzing w/ stuff. my origin aero should be here shortly too. last time it was hard to fit but my car was salvaged so nothing fit hahha
but this new chssi everything should be a bolt on affair and done!

yea go with a good, well known company and you'll be straight, just dont go out and buy the cheap shit and then expect it to fit like a glove, there's a reason the ones mentioned are pricey, but its well worth it. Try either VIS or Seibon for the hood btw

I've got origin aero w/ version select fenders all the way around and fitment is about a 9 out of 10

its about as good as it gets

Considering a paid $750 for fenders from Masa S13.5 ->S15 conversion fenders about 3 years back for similar fitment (9 out of 10) you can't beat it at nearly half the price

You fail at posting in the propper thread

You fail at searching zilvia/google.

All in all, you fail.

To the thread starter, VS/Origin will fit nicely for the cheaper end of aero.

Seibon hoods fit nicely. If you are going for a vented style hood, try and find one that has the vent placed right where you would like it.

Water gets inside your car from underneath. Just as long as your vent isn't pouring water directly onto your distributer when your car isn't moving, all is well.

true, i was just thinking like if i stoped at a light and my fans came on, its be blowing it everywhere...but i duno how much water comes in from under the car either.

Origin type 2 hood is vented in the back so no water gets in but still allows some flow, think raised hood without truly raising and just adding ducting. Once I get mine back from paint I'll post some pics.

in all fairness, Stewarts Oem fenders were pretty yanked.

But B Magic still eats chode, instead of flexing/notching the tire will just tear a chunk out of them.
