Oops edit.... I mean s13 not s12. i did a search and found this thread but it doesn't say how to get the hubs off. I am doing the rears first and the hub is stuck. I took off 4 bolts in the back axle and the 36mm bolt in the center. Do I need some kind of puller to get it off?

ha the s12 title got me excited... those dont have a big enough following... they're way sweeter then the over hyped ae86's in my opinion

I was hoping that someone had intrest in the s12 also. But alas, it's just someone who didn't search propperly.
Answer to thread starter. Rent a hub puller. Or incredible hulk it off.

i used a HILTI and a ground rod (can u tell my dad's an electrician?!?)
if u can get a puller that will fit definetly use that so u dont damage anything...but if not, find some way of "jerking" it loose. a HILTI is a great powertool because it vibrates the SHIT out of the hub, it came off in literaly 10 seconds after i spent 2 hours trying to bang it loose.

I didn't have to use that when I did mine. I just tapped on bolts and hubs with a rubber mallet and hammer. No special tools are nneded. But some lubricating oil is needed. :hahano:

Now remove the long bolt in the middle and screw in a dent puller...That should pop that sucker right out....

I came in because it said S12, put my hopes up for some s12 love. Good luck on the 5 lug swap though! : )

put a screwdriver between the hub and dust shield, then tap the screw driver. Do it softly and change locations frequently or find a friend thats big enough to pull it off. I was able to just pull mine off when I did it.
