Ok guys,
My Sr swap is in and wired up. Ive checked the wiring and it all *seems* correct. The power wire sending power to the coilpack plug (Blue/Red) is getting power. Now how do I check to make sure I AM getting spark? Could it be my plugs? I didnt change the plugs in the engine as my autozone here does not carry those NGK plugs. Is there an equivelant plug? They are nice and black and all fouled up, could this be the problem?
1. How do I check for spark if the Engine is not running. (can I do it the old fashion way with a screw driver in the tip of the coilpack?)
2. Is there an equivelant plug to the NGK I can pick up at the AutoZone?

i use bkr7e's....try that, they are easy to get. have you check all your connections and stuff yet? oh and check ur fuel lines, not saying ur dumb...but its a common problem of hooking up the fuel lines backwards lol.

Ok... So heres my update:
I have no spark coming from the coilpacks.
Fuel lines ae hooked up ok.
I have my wires done accordingly to all the guides online. Only 2 wires are even Ignition Related in all the tuturiols. Ive tested them with a test light and they are showing to have power. Now How do I check the ignitor via Voltmeter to make sure the ECU is sending the pulses?

check your CAS for any damage. look at it VERY CLOSELY, even the smallest ding or crack will screw it up. just pull the cover off to check it. you can take a paper clip and back-probe the wires on the ignitor chip. DO NOT EVER pierce the plastic on the wires, always backprobe. im sure that the spec. voltage will be in the FSM, i dont remember it right off hand. you can also get a plug tester at any auto part store, i would recomend that over the screwdriver trick. the FSM has a great step by step procedure for checking the ignitor, CAS, and the ECU as well as how to check continuity for all the aformentioned. oh also if its your cas you most likely wont get any firing of the injectors either, be sure to check those as well. hope this all helps. keep us updated as to what you find.

CAS wont cause a no spark issue which is what I have for sure now. So my next step is to find the fsm for the SR20det.

CAS is fine. But I do not know how to trouble shoot the Ignitor chip via the FSM (I cant find it).
How many engine grounds should I have on this swap? I only have 1 hooked up to the intake manifold. Is there anymore. What about the one on the back of the block behind the valve cover?

what number Is on Your ECU, you might have the wrong one or a bad ecu.
Also you can get NGK spark plugs at Meyers, they have them in stock.

ECU 62 - says its correct via the fact...
Update: I think my dash wiring may be off as when I pull the key out the red lights (2 on the right side) on the dash stay on for a few minutes before shutting off. Is this related to the dash harness conversion or the Ka harness conversion behind the passenger headlight?

the ignitor/power transitor chip test is located in Engine Control page 202....or atleast it is in my FSM that i got from camel-towing.com...hope that helps.

thanks... now that its warm enough to go outside Im going to start double checking all my wiring and make sure I dont have back-power going through my grounds...

there is an important ground at the back of the valve cover, it isn't part of the removable harness, folow the coilpack wires back and you'll find it, if you didn't connect that ground you won't get spark
