thats this about a turbo with the nill lag of a small turbo and the brute power of a larger one? basically i want to know if i can steal one from a pontiac soltice gxp or a saturn sky radline(shitty i know) and slap it on my sr??? is this a possibility. if so what would it take to make it fit? the exact name is Borg-Warner dual-scroll turbo if that helps. any insight would be wonderful. thanks a lot.

From the pic if you turned it upside down you might be able to make it work. I'm sure you will have to make a custom manifold, oil and coolant lines, exhaust down pipe, hot pipe ect. Also its probably going to be crazy expensive because its new. Also depending on what PSI the wastegate is set to, you will probably have to get some type of boost controler. IMO not worth the hassel, I mean is the SR's lag really that bad? No.

get a KA-T.
Problem fix.
Diesels have been using VNT (variable nozzle) turbos for some time. Its one of the things that make the VW TDIs such a monster hoot and give the little 45mpg cars better than 300lb/ft of twist at 1800rpms when lightly modded.
Some other folks are now using similar tech on gas motors and turbo above is an example of such. Garrett/Honeywell are one of the leaders in this tech and they may well be able to lend you a hand if you wont to think outside the box on something special.

just read an article in some lame tuner mag tonight about Borg Warner opening up an aftermarket division, called AirWerks. http://www.turbodriven.com/en/airwerks/index.asp
not much on the site as of yet, but they offer the full line of K series turbos (like what come on the VW/Audi turbo motors) and apparently they'll take custom jobs like Garrett does - and yes, Garrett turbos is a division of Honeywell (a HUGE company).
