I forgot to take my speed sensor off of my tranny before I sold it. Now all I have is the SR speed sensor. Can I cut the plug off the Ka Speed Sensor and then Splice the wires together to the SR speed sensor? If so, which color goes to which?
Thanks...

Speed sensor should be the same iirc...should be able to use the same plug. If not, i dont see why you cant, its 2 prong plug so it shouldnt be that hard to figure out.

I almost 100% sure they are diff, thats why you have to put a KA sensor in if you keep the USDM cluster. And the SR speed sensor on a USDM cluster makes the miles of and the odometer read ~2x what it should
Just get a KA speed sensor if you can... you can replace them real easy from underneath

Post the link to your search and I'll give you the answer if you didn't already find it by then.

Wrong, they are the same. I've typed this before but no one seems to know how to read.
There are four (4) different VSS:
S13 manual
S13 auto
S14 manual
S14 auto
There is no distinction between US or Japan markets, they are identical. Use the sensor that goes with the cluster.
