Well, I think the first thing I will do is explain the project (to anyone who has not seen it already)

The goal is to have a vast amount of information about Nissan 240SX performance modification organised into a structured book-like layout that is easy to extract specific information from (Unlike a message forum with thousands of threads)

I started the project with the help of others in the 240SX hive-mind several months ago, it has fleshed out a bit, gained some structure, and now it looks like this:

http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Nissan_240SX_Performance_Modification

Anyway, I'm promoting it some more to try and get some more contributors. It's coming along but I feel it has a decent way to go. My goal is that we can have sometihng that's worth having a printed copy of in your shop while you work on your car.

Ideas, Comments, Suggestions, Contributors?

also, I think the best part of the book thus far is the "brakes" section:

To add to your brake section the Z33/350Z/G35 Track Edition Brembo Brakes will also fit on a 240sx(for those ballas out there)

side note: 17in wheels are a min.
perferably w/ a offset <20 and width >8.5:D

Also for the chassis siffening putting rivets along the door seams can also go along way to makeing stronger( I'll take pics when I do mine)

There is a lot of information on basic stuff about 240's at 240sx.org.

I think it would be better to stitch weld seam rather than rivets. It just seems like the rivets could pop out and your floorboard fall out...seriously though stitch welding would probably help more, last longer, and look better.

yes, there is also a lot of information on Zilvia in FAQ format. FAQ format was never intended for in-depth guides on huge topics like modifiying a car, faq's where intended for common Q & A's like
What years was the 240SX made

People make FAQ's and faq's don't answer questions. Look at the V8 swap FAQ on Zilvia and tell me if you could do a V8 swap after reading just that thread, also tell me how much usless info you read vs usefull info. Discussion boards are for discussion, books are for reference...

I want to compile information from the entire community into a singe WIKIBOOK.

Anyone can edit the wikibook, if you feen a modification needs to be made then make it, if you feel a part of the book needs corrected then correct it. I can't make this book myself that's why it's a WIKI. , just be sure to note any edits you make in the "Discussion" tab (it's a behind the scenes page under every page)

Problem is, no one will read it. Compile all you want and make the best, most well documented site ever, kids will still ignore it and ask dumb shit.

It's not the lack of combined info that's the problem, it's the lack of intellect to read it that's an issue.

I think it's a great idea.

Granted, you'll always have people that refuse to take the time to do their own research before posting on here. But I'd rather give them some definitive starting points like the FAQs and this Wiki than just come back with the standard "search n00b, or I shall crush you" response.
