LOCATION: HOUSTON TEXAS. The car is an out of state vehicle (Ohio) and is owned by me (I’m originally from Ohio and returning in Mid-August). As the car is an out of state vehicle, it is titled and registered out of state and thus should be treated as an out of state car if purchased for use in Texas or any other state.
Asking price is $5800. I don’t really want to sell it, but transporting two cars back to Ohio will be inconvenient for me thus the price is somewhat negotiable.
This car is originally from North Carolina and has no rust. Over all exterior condition of the car is very good. There are some minor blemishes that are listed in the section at the bottom.
The car is a 1995 240 SX/SE in dark red/ burgundy with black interior. The car has ~116,000 miles on it. The tires are in good shape with good tread on them. It has all the standard factory stuff:
Sunroof
White guages
Spoiler (chin and trunk)
16" alloys
Factory fogs
The car originally had a leather interior but I didn't care much for it so I replaced it with a stock set of cloth seats out of another 95 240 SE (black cloth with red green and black slanted center section). I still have the leather seats and they will be included with the car. The interior of the car is in good shape aside for what is listed below.
The radio is a single CD Blaupunkt stereo and has a set of Alpine’s in the front and a set of Polk’s in the back (all 6.5”). The factory amps were eliminated. Factory pillar tweeters were retained.
I bought a RX-7 alloy spare to put in the car, but haven't had a chance to swap the tire from the factory steel spare to the alloy RX-7 one. It will also be included with the car.
The brakes were cleaned, caliper pins lubricated and the pads replaced in early May.
I just had the car's oil changed at one of the local Houston dealers; they also did a check of the systems in the car (suspension, steering, etc) and found no problems.
There are a couple details with the car:
The trim bezel around the radio is missing. The area of the dash around the radio has some scuffs from when the radio was stolen.
The leather shift boot is torn and needs replaced.
Factory driver’s floor mat has a worn spot.
There’s a small chip in the windshield and a scratch in the rear window.
There’s a couple of faded spots on the hood and trunk spoiler. The are some chips in the paint on the front spoiler.
There are some minor scratches and maybe a small dint or two.
I have a copy of the Carfax report for this car that I can forward to interested parties.
If you are interested in the car please contact me at [email protected]
