Well we just put a new motor (ka24de) in my friend's 240. Does anyone know where the vacuum line off of the back of the intake manifold goes? The car seems to idle fine but when you touch the throttle it just shuts right off. Could this have something to do with it?

cap the line at the manifold see if it fixes the issue

i just turboed my ka and am having the same prob, i also do not know where the hose goes off of the back of the intake. i have tried to block it off to no avail. it still will not let me touch the throttle. it will idle and as soon as i touch the throttle...it falls flat. i am having a mechanic come over and help out tonight. as soon as i get some result i will let you know.

Heres what you do. Take off every bit of emissions BS, and use an EGR blockoff plate (or make one) and then take off all the emissions components. Youre left with like 3 vacuum lines. Your brake booster, IACV and i forgot what the last one is. And it cleans up the engine bay:D

Might go to the fpr. Just a random guess

egr has been completely removed already. had the mechanic come over last night and we played with it for about 3 hrs hooking up vac lines and etc. hooked up the modis diagnostic computer and got some crazy readings from the injectors. its dumping mad fuel into the cylinders. timing is exact, he checked that as well. unhooked the 300zx maf and replaced it with stock maf and still same prob, run rough as hell and then touch the throttle and it cuts off. thanks for everyones input and keep giving advice or ideas as you come up with them. i am leaving no stone unturned.
