hey guys, i got this Eclipse AVN2454 for sale, i had it in my car for a while, and since i work at circuit city i got the new one(this is last years model) the new one is for sale at circuit city 1700. its the best one out their without going to a unit with a hard-drive.
its touch-screen 6.5 TFT monitor
built in Navigation and DVD player
slides down to reveal 2 disk drives. buttons light up a greenish color
im lookin to get 700 for it, but other offers will be considered. trades welcomed as well
any questions just ask!
ive had this sitting in my room for a while so i really want to get rid of it
since i do not have the map disc, i lowered the price to accomodate for the price of the map disc on ebay. hope this helps...

So it's everything needed for installation?
SilviaVsSupra

yea its everything, the navigation needs to be wired as a seperate harness, but any self-proclaimed "installer" will be able to do it. its a single unit, so their is no extra brain or anything like that

i lowered the price since i dont have the map disc, which is needed to use the navigation. new price; 650!!

Will to trade for Practically brand new t3/t4E turbo?!
SilviaVsSupra
10-23-2006, 06:33 PM
waystelandremy; it is a Double Din, it is not a flip down, it does, "slide down" though, how you see it in the picture is what it will look like "closed", when you "open" it, the screen slides down to be horizontal to expose two disc slots.
unless the turbo is a gt, or something comprible to a gt30r, no thanks

haha i have a stock manifoldright now, and stock 5bolt dump, stock injectors, and no sort of ecu upgrade:wtc: so id be needing some parts. i have too much stuff just lying around as it is.. not to mention my financial situation(look at my sig.)
im looking for anything thats more of something i can use without having to get something else for it. like i said, its for sale, but trades will be considered.
some nice racings seats and brackets would be nice:D (id pay small differece for that, Sparco, bride, or recaro only.. WITH brackets) but i really need the money more then anything, i owe a chunk of cash at the end of the month:duh: and next month.. and so forth..

hey is the wiring the same for the as the newer models?like can i unplug my avn 5435 and plug yours into its place?

some of the harnesses, yes, but others no, i forget which ones exactly, but you cant with the tach harness. thats why, luckily, the harness is big enough that you dont need it and u can use crimp plugs to connect the wires with the posts.

did you buy the AVN5500 6600 5495? Just curious...and why don't yah try lowering the price a bit more, those Navi discs run for about $100 if i recall correctly...i know Pioneer sells theirs at $200...dunno about Eclipse.. i haven't had a reason to call them to ask yet.

the 5500 actually.. the discs, new are alot, like 200. but ebay(i know, but for a cd hell its worth it) they are like 50 60 70 max. im open to offers as far as price, but il take your advice for the lowered price. new price 650 SHIPPED i really cant go much lower, any lower its not really worth selling

do you have a pic of it installed? does it hit the shifter when it opens? can you show a pic of everything you are including? gps sensor, harnesses....
SilviaVsSupra

i dont have any pics of it installed, i have 1 with my new 1 installed though(i think, i gotta look) but no it doesnt hit the shifter at all, never in the way.
if you mean the gps harness(tach and speedsensor) thats the harness i dont have, so i cant realy take a pic..
