I bought my s14 SR swap with no ECU.
The previous owner ran Apexi's Power FC, since the stock computer (Code NA) was damaged in the front clip. I'd like to eliminate the MAF but Apexi doesn't offer a D-jetro version for the Kouki s14 harness.
I've searched a little bit. Are there any recommendations? Links?
Thanks.

Ive heard only good reviews about the power FC so it must be good. But ive allways wondered about how well is the Greddy E-manage, and the AEM EMS. those two do seem faily inexpensive.

I was told by an Apexi dealer that if I wanted to run PFC DJetro on the Kouki SR20DET, I would have to change over to a ZenKi SR harness. The Zenki harness doesn't have the wiring for the Variable Valve timing solenoid, so I'd have to run some new wires for that. Not only this, I'm not even sure if the Zenki PFC DJetro has VTC controls. Can someone verify this?
I believe the Kouki Ljetro has the VTC controls for the Kouki SR, but that won't get rid of the MAF.
I know that with the DJetro, you would have to buy Apexi's MAP sensor and an AIT (air intake temp) sensor. And of course, PLUG AND PLAY & base maps included, it can't be easier. Tuning on the commander seems to suck. People have gone with aftermarket software in order to better tune the PFC.
AEM's EMS, I've read that some owners of the EMS, with cars other than the 240sx, have had problems with their units burning up. How about the ones for the S14's? Anyone here have it? Please speak up, I'm sure we all would like to know how it's working for you. I'm going to have to check out AEM's forums.
Other than those 2, I've been looking into Haltech's E6X and E11v2. With these ECUs, you're going to have to rewire/solder in the new Haltech ECU harness. It's something I don't really want to do, but if people have had good luck with them, I won't mind. I believe Haltech's tuning software is decent. Anyone here have any experience with Haltech ECUs?
