Works on stock/aftermarket muffler pipe and on heavy acceleration emits soundfx extremely similar to that of a turbocharged vehicle. Depressing the gas pedal in "some" instances have released a backpressure in the muffler making the car sound like it has a Blow Off Valve(BOV).

Old news. I've been intimidating local racers with this device on my 240 for years. Even old guys in Vette's. Yea they pull up to me and wanna race, but when I rev hard and they hear that whistle blow, they know what's up. You can see the look of fear on their face as their penis gets sucked in their body like a scared turtle.
