CA = RB20 with 4 cylinders
RB20 = Eats big dick
four sixths of eats big dick is sucks more than jerking it wearing a glove of razor blades and salt.

There, I used math and proved that CA18 sucks more than jerking it wearing a glove of razor blades and salt. I should be a janitor in the math department with a rough and tumble exterior but has a heart of gold.

It depends on what you are looking for. You can get a ca motorset for around $900 plus shipping, vs. the outragious prices of the sr. But parts selection is much greater for the sr. Personally if you are planning on swapping this into an S13, then I'd do the Ca. Stock it's aroudn 180 hp, lots cheaper then the sr, and is different. But it all depends on what you want. Look as see. I had an s13 hatch with a ca, and I loved it. It was perfact for my daily driving needs, and had plenty of power to mess around with. Upgrade the turbo, injectors, 3in dp, and cat, and an intake and you will have enough. 99% of the parts for a ca are the same and an 88 to 90 pulsar. BUT SEARCH NOOB.

Dumb thread, dumb question.

What's better, Coke or Pepsi?
What's better, AMD or Intel?
What's better, McDonalds or Burger King?
What's better, Canon or Nikon?

For me, it's Coke, AMD, Burker King, and Canon.

And SR.

Most users here have probably experienced a total of 2 engines. Pre-swap KA, and SR.
Even more users than that will have never had any experience owning, installing, maintaining or driving with both CA or SR.
It's entirely subjective and ultimately comes down to what YOU want from your motor.
I've owned 3 SR'd vehicles, (4 if you count our minivan - SR20DE POWA!), and have driven cars powered by KA24E, KA24DE, KA24DET (300whp), SR20DE, SR20DET (stock and 350hp+) and CA18DET (350hp+).

I vote SR.
