I used to live in AShburn, screw thAT...emissions testing and too much traffic!! :smash:

I am in Cville, Va. 1.5 hours south....Touge Runs every day!!

not sure on the events though I think Dragva.com or something has that.

Good luck!

haha i thought you meant Cville as in CENTERville..haha...damn man i would go out their, but i think it'll be alot funner with group of ppl that have the same interest.

I'm cool with emissions since i work at a shop.

Traffic really does suck asz here, everywhere you go their is some sort of crazy traffic back up n then when you come to the point of reason why their was traffic it's something stupid like a cop giving some person a ticket.....f'in rubber neckers.

yea i forgot about Dragva.com

thanks man

I think Virginia sucks for car shows, meets, events, etc...I'm down in Richmond, and there is never anything around. Everything is either at VIR, which we take that 4 hour trip everytime we can, or Old Dominion Raceway, which is like 3 hours north and there are a ton of traffic issues around that raceway. Anyone know of any events that go on closer to Richmond?

I don't know about Richmond but in NOVA there is a big car mega meet I think on the last Friday or Saturday of every month out in the big commuter lot near 234.

LOTS of people usually show up. I've been busy lately so I haven't been up to date with the "car scene". I know Team-Integra and Tekademics used to meet up at the Starbucks in Fairfax. They used to have big meets up in FFX Towne Center also. I don't know if that was actually moved to the lot in 234, or if they even still do anything at the Towne Center.

Either way, definitely check around the boards, they usually talk about big meets like that.

Uhh...Richmond has a ton of drifters here...
The guys that run Lookout Drift live on the west end.

Alot of people meet up at B&N in Rockville...I haven't been out there in like 6 months or so though. I moved to Richmond from Arlington for school this year.

I've been to a couple of FFX Meets their not bad, but it isnt as exciting as it use to be....before it would be packed with Teams and Clubs; top to bottom..

Yea I hate that most car events are at VIR...hella ways from NOVA..

I havent been to Old Dominion Raceway. But I hear they mostly hold Domestic Car events.

I hear about B&N alot what is it???

703 represent yo. im in the chantilly area. meets are usually every friday night up at the sterling(dulles mall) chic-fil-a. usually very good turn outs. slowing down lately because it is so cold but pick up when its warm and are pretty big.
also usually on fridays there a big meets at the burger king deep down in manassass.

Yeah, I know the guys from Lookout, but they took away all the drift practices up at Cloverleaf, so there isn't anything around here anymore...except for the meets every Sunday night on Hull Street in Southside, but there it's just mostly rich kids with FWD cars that their parents bought them...I asked one guy what PSI he was running on his SRT-4 since he claimed he did a BPU, but he didn't know what I meant when I said PSI...it was sad actually haha.

I've been to the Chik-Fil-A a couple of times...last time was back prolly in March...not many ppl showed up, it was still something to do......but now i dont go anymore cause usually always a group of immature kids that showoff.

I've never been to the Buger Kings meets in Manassas...is it worth going too??

My friend told me about some Nissan meets that they have at GMU, does that still go on???

Man, I used to go to mad meets in Ft. Lauderdale/Miami I think I have seen it all. Bored with teenagers thinking they can drive, when all they do is talk a bunch of crap and have never been on a track.

I am going to go to all the autox's and drift events in the central east coast next year.

The event Tomorrow @ODS sounds good. Might see if I can squeeze up there and check it out.

If anyone is up for a day trip in the mountains, I can plan a route of nothing but switchbacks and banked curves. Back roads in the country= no cops.

Well MountainGarage if you can gather up a good sized number of ppl and do a mountain side cruise...thats would be awesome!

YEA!!! Nismostyle240 has a good point....Where they hell ARE all the 240's in NOVA???

--to say I have seen a few, mostly old ppl drive them..haha...guess I can roll with them!..
....i've also seen one maroon '95 240sx last night at the local Safeway, one that was riced out by some spanish guy.:smash: ..i felt i needed to rescue the 240 from all the torture....
...my friends got a white '98 240sx, but that guy is down VT Blackburg,VA...

Where is it that you guys practice the secret art of drifting?

I mean, safely. Open parking lots at night are okay...but definitely too risky, and not really relaxing if you're looking over your back every 5 seconds for police.

Matter of fact, where are all the good tracks at? Lol, I want to find out where you guys hang!

There is a engine import shop in Sterling haveing a BBQ this weekend, I'm not going, but I've been to the shop a couple of times. nice place

There is a BBQ at Japanese Engine Import this Saturday the 28th for everyone in the area that wants to come. I am just passing the word along for all the people who might want to come. They will be offering discounts on the engines and transmissions like SR20's and ZE swaps if you are interested and were thinking about buying an engine you should come up this weekend, they also have parts for sale that you might want or need like coilovers, spoilers, wheels, brake conversions, sr20 driveshafts, lights, front end conversions, exhausts (for s13's and honda's) you should check it out! The information and address is at the bottom of the post so mapquest it or if you need directions I can try to post some on here just let me know.

Ugh, looks like all the fun is up in NOVA (sigh)

All we have around here is a meet on Sunday nights, but there are hardly any other 240's that show up. Maybe I'll have to drive up there sometime just to meet some people haha.

Whats up everybody... new to the 240sx world... got my first 93 S13 coupe. Don't have too much experience with Nissans, as I have been a toyota fan forever.

I'm up in Northern, VA Near Quantico/Dumfries, and I was wondering if we had any S13 KA24DE guru's in this area? My clutch pedal is having some issues, and I was wondering if there was anyone who could help me establish the problem?

I'm hoping to start getting into some meets soon too! Thanks guys!
