Looks good. I just wish they were 17's.

My friend had a set of these on his WRX and slammed them into a curb. There was no damage done to the wheels, but he bent all of his control arms. I guess I would trust Rota quality based on that single experience.

Maybe if they were a lot lighter than the Works.
But even then, maybe not.

Work emotions are not that much to begin with...

looks really good, but how much do they cost? probably around 200-300 per wheel?

HAHAHAHHAHA.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA.

OMG. That shit is funny. If you can't afford CR Kais, you got a long way to go on your ride. Just save up an extra $400 and have the real thing... which is good quality... from one of the best wheel manufacturers in Japan. Bahahaha. Pillipino Rota Knock offs!! Fuck that shit.

Plus, they copied 1 Work Emotion CR Kai (the rear) and 1 Work Emotion forged version (the fronts). The regular Emotions were available quite a while ago (2+ years) but they were forged, expensive, and not good offsets. And no sunk face. And that little wierd surface around the center cap hole. It's "different" than th CR Kai, which is more like a.. better design, updated cast version of the Emotion.

I don't see how companies like Rota can exist. You see all of these hypocrites on more expensive car forums talking about using high-quality parts and stuff...Then they've got fucking Rotas on their Evo's and STi's...

I here that Rota is coming out with a 20"+ spinner/ DUB style line of wheels..

Its called DUD. they use bushings instead of bearings in the spinners. :bite:

I had some Rotas on my old subaru and loved them, 17" at 17lbs. Thats not heavy at all. I live in CT. We have the worst roads ever. I never bent one and they look just as good today as they did the day i bought them. I would buy another set in a second. A friend of mine is still running them on his suby

At altamont i went off the course and into the dirt. Didnt even hit anything, and it broke one of my gram light wheels.

Subydude.com has been giving me rota wheels for awhile now, and i havent had any problems with the p45's I know that rota has changed their production req, and i would'nt worry about the strength of the wheels.

I would rather get the works, but if you are looking for a cheap wheel, or a track wheel i would go for it.

Oh yeah, i bought them six years ago and they get used in the winter.

truthfully u people knock on rota, but I got a set of grids on my car. Had them on my old S14. Slammed into a car that ran a stop sign while going 40 mph. The wheel took the impact and the control arm bent. The rim survived with only a few minor scratches to the powdercoating / paint. Had a rim shop check it out and they said the wheel was fine and safe to use... still using em today.

I'm eventually gonna get a nicer set of rims and use these for track, but imo, bang for your buck i'm pretty happy with em.
