1. Do you think a 240K mile (no pun intended) 3.9L five-speed 2wd Dodge Dakota could tow an S13 with a SR in it from akron to cleveland?

2. Will a simple u-haul dolly work for a ~60 mile trip?

I found someone's broken dream that's too cheap to pass up. I'm gonna get on the 240 bandwagon. :D

i towed from Long Island, New York to Southern California..LA Area and then towed around LA and then up to willowsprings and a ton of other race cars with my 1995 chevy Blazer with the 5.7 Vortec motor and a nice steel open bottom trailer.

so yes.

is the 240 lowered? if not then yes uhaul will be fine, i towed my first 240 home with a 1979 caprice and a uhaul about 75 miles bone stock.

go for it.

The best truck I've ever towed anything with is the 84 F-250.

2000 dodge 2500 turbo diesel is number 2. number one for fuel efficiency though.

If its just a one-time pull, I think you'll be alright. But if you want to tow it to the track all the time, you'll want to move up.
