Battery Relocation

sup everyone i recently bought a battery relocation kit from summit racing for my s13 hatch. anyways it says to drill out a 3/8ths hole and bolt the j bolt down but in the trunk there is no where to mount it. since i cant drill on the rear passanger side since the fuel tank is there. i have been searching for answers all over but i have yet to find anything. can someone help me thanks!!!

s13 hatch. i have been searching. i dont really want to put it behind the pass seat but if there is no one to can help me then i guess i will have to.

I have my dry cell mounted in my hatch on the passenger side near the strut tower. I can't remember the specific location and I am not sure of the process. When I go home for lunch I will make a photo and post it up. Maybe that will help.

on a hatch you can fit one in the farthest back point behind the pass seat,no problems, but my trunk was stripped so that gave a few inches to work with.

The fuel tank is not directly below the rear floorpan, you've got about an inch of clearance. Just don't get crazy and stick it through after you've drilled the hole.

im thinking of just removing the fuel tank to install it. unless anyone has any other ideas?

i just did this. i put an optima yellow top in the rear passenger corner of the trunk. There was enough room to drill holes there you just gotta be cautious and dont go crazy with the drill. maybe i'll post some pics later to show you where i drilled.
