View Full Version : yay or nay about n1 mufflers?

I was looking around just trying to figure out what kind of style I want to put on my car. I like the dual n1 exhaust system but was thinking of getting the cat back and bending my own tubing from the back of muffler to the front flange. Maybe for a viper style twin exhaust look from the middle of the bumper? I havent really seen it done yet but i think with the S13 body style it would look pretty sweet. Im not going all out on a body kit, just enough to were it stands out and looks good and unique. All the 240s in my area have n1 single style exhaust with the like 20 degree bend out and I want to do something different but love the exhaust.

a buddy of mine has it on his s14 comming out of where the license plates should be. looks pretty pimp. ill try and get a pic

yea thats cool I was thinking the same thing. I was looking through body kits that had oem style rear bumpers so i could just modify it my self and do alittle fiberglass work and make it look like they belong there. But a pic of your friends car would be great, I think it would look awesome.

and the car is a dodge viper was just using it as a example of the dual exhaust.

oh damn that looks pretty sick, i didnt think about putting them that high up lol but it still looks sick as hell no less.

That's just as if you were begging the cops to pull you over for not having a back license plate. Nonetheless, interesting idea, but itd look better if it were lower.

he has lowered it more he lifted it to put the custom CF difuser, and he has a tag that hangs out the trunk. but idk where it is in that pic

well judging by the choice of tire...i am hope that is not a street car...or else it would just be a waste...but unique for sure

That is Safa's car, if I spelled that right. I SWEAR I think I took that picture that day, or one very similar to it, since that park is 6 minutes or less from my crib, next exit up I-85.

On a s14 you can mount that high, but on a s13 you cant because of the gas tank. Plus I think is is safer on a s14 than the s13 because of the gas tank. I do no think any muffler shop will relocate the muffler to the middle because of liabilities.

oh yea that s14 is alittle high and would probably bring attenation if it were a street car, but if its an O/R car then no biggie right?

anyways my 3 piece trunk lip wing is installed and i still havent decided on a body kit for my car but its going to look low smooth no big spoiler off the back so i hope the dual exhaust looks as good as it does in my head.

pics will come after i do all this of course.

I have the front bumper, and early next year will get the sides nad rears once i rip the bwave stuff i have on now off

what company makes that read bumper? it looks oem with a kick. that car would look good with some wheel spacers, less the wing and maybe a set of bigger rims :hammer: but i def love the exhaust it looks exotic and i think it fits perfect with the s13 body style.
