Well I was looking for a simple CD player for my car and I came across this beast....

This is an in-dash CD/Receiver with a 10 giagbyte hardrive built in to rip CD's at 8X speed. It also has an auxilliary input that allows connection of an MP3 player, tape, MD player, and/or an optional Sony plug-and-play XM Satellite Radio tuner.

Thats alittle to much for me....I would rather get an Alpine or Panasonic in-dash DVD.
Is it just me or does that page really must up your eyes? <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
u might as well just buy a neo jukebox (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1365013486) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Yeah... I was just looking at that today as well. I don't understand why anyone would buy it though? Just buy a portable MP3 player and hook it up to your normal aftermarket headunit. My Rio Riot (20gig) was $360 on ebay. It's a great little unit. Just hook that up to any nice headunit and you're set.
How are you supposed to transfer songs to the Sony? Through a laptop? So if you use a PC you'd have to first transfer it to a laptop and then to the headunit? Lame. You can take a portable player anywhere you want to go. The Sony's only good in the car. Oh well...

I've never been a big fan of's sony's car stereo anything... always seems like to spend more money on flash and glam than actual signal processing, and output.
